Wilson Chew - Founder
Wilson graduated from Stanford University with a Master's degree. Prior to ThinkChina,
Wilson served as a Senior Manager for an American investment firm focused on incubating start-ups in China. With his deep
understanding of both Chinese and Western culture, Wilson has extensive experience liaising negotiations between Chinese and
Western companies.
As a founder of ThinkChina, Wilson develops and oversees many of the program initiatives that take place over the summer.
Based in Shanghai, China, Wilson speaks 4 languages fluently.

Chester Mui - Founder, Program Director
Chester graduated from Tufts University and is a native of New Jersey. Passionate about the international affairs, Chester spent
several summers during college abroad both in China and Japan. While he was in New York, Chester continued to pursue his
international interests while serving as a volunteer language professional at the International Center of New York.
Based in Shanghai for the last two and a half years, Chester is EMT trained and fluent in both English and Mandarin. Prior to founding
ThinkChina, Chester served as an investment professional in New York City.

Board of Advisors
Preston Dodd
Preston is currently President of Appregatta Technologies, a leading provider of cloud-based technology solutions . Prior to Appregatta,
Preston, a Duke University and Harvard University alumnus, served as as a Educator for Teach for America. Preston is active with community
service events in the Bay Area. A long-time volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club of San Francisco, Preston has also led volunteer programs
for Citizen Schools, Habitat for Humanity, SF Food Bank, and World Savvy in conjunction with the Harvard Club of San Francisco, where he
serves as President. As part of his efforts with the Harvard Club, he has been deeply involved in the Early College Awareness Program for
potential first generation college attendees. In addition to contributing to various projects for First Graduate, where he serves on the
Board of Directors, he co-founded "Exploring the Possibilities", a Career Panel for potential first-generation college attendees.
Preston also serves on the Board of Advisors of World Savvy, a San Francisco-based non-profit focused on improving understanding of
complex world issues in K-12 student populations.
Brian Ong
Brian is the founder of Taurus Education which is a leading educational services company in Shanghai. Prior to founding Taurus Education,
Brian, a Yale and Stanford alumnus, worked at a management consulting firm and an Internet startup. At Yale, he co-founded the Yale
Economic Review and the Yale Southeast Asia Conference and served on the Yale Dean's Advisory Committee. He was the co-founder of
Captology.tv and associate chair of Persuasive 2007 at Stanford. He previously attended the Princeton in Beijing program and worked at
the Columbia University office of Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz.
Helen Chan
Ms. Chan is a Senior Advisor to ThinkChina. Ms. Chan has nearly 30 years of cumulative experience working with youth and teens.
Prior to ThinkChina, Ms. Chan served as the Head of the History department at the True Light School in Hong Kong and also as the True
Light School Alumni Coordinator. In addition to her teaching duties, Ms. Chan has been the principal organizer for many official school
events and outings. Ms. Chan received her Masters in Education and under Bachelor of Arts in History from the Chinese University of Hong
Kong.
Xu Wei, Ph.D.
Professor Wei is currently a University Professor at the School of Information Science and Engineering at Shanghai Fudan University.
Professor Wei currently teaches Advanced Automation Engineering and Optical Theory and has worked with leading engineering students
from across China for the last ten years. Outside of the classroom, Professor Wei has served as a long time Undergraduate Student
Advisor and a Academic Advisor for graduate engineering students at the School of Information Science and Engineering. Throughout the
years, Professor Wei has received numerous awards for her outreach and community work with students.
